before i type the letter, just know that this isn't a "hey l like you letter" it's to a girl that I went out with, but we don't talk anymore.

"*****,
I would be best to tell you this in person, but I can't get ahold of you, so here goes...
I know we haven't talked in a while nad all, bu I just wanted to say that I feel like a jerk about how I've ignored you at work. If you don't want to talk to me, fine, that's your right ad I don't really blame you. But I think it'd be best for us to clear things up between us, so we can get past all this.
If you want to talk about it, please give me a call, I hope we can still be friends.

******"

Yeah, we are coworkers, so I don't want us to be enemies or nothing

Writing her a little is okay. But telling her this in person would be better. It would allow her to see that you are not affraid to show your emotions and would be straight forward with her about things to come in the future. There is nothing wrong with being friends or telling her how you feel even if it's in a letter. I think you're on the right path. Think about it some more and get things just right. Good luck!

Writing a letter in your own hand is good. Don't type it. It's tacky.
When you write a letter, it is personal, intimate. It also shows that you took the time to devote that moment of your life to one person. That person will appreciate that. Not too many people actually pen letters anymore.
Think about what you want to say. Use questions. This will result in a reply. Good or bad.
Most of all, write things you wouldn't mind your mother reading. Write things you wouldn't be ashamed of seeing on the front page of your local news paper. It's like a bullet shot out of a gun. Once it leaves your hand, there's no taking it back.

I would say that if it is possible then you should hand wright the letter and give it to her. Hand written letters mean SO much more then e-mail. Also, if you have to give it to her in person, or have flowers sent and put the letter with it. Going the extra mile could just be the thing that will make something good happen.

Talk to her in person. When you get to work pull her to the side and tell her what you said in your letter. If you write her a letter, she might let all the co-workers see it and make fun of you. Be a man and talk to her in person.

yup that is good, but you should say sorry for the way you treated her, not that you feel like a jerk! and that your behaviour was childish, and you are hopeing she will forgive you, and at least be nice to you at work so there isn't so much tension! And finish with, I am truly sorry if I hurt you!

It's fine, but you had better make sure you put it on her desk o valentines day, with some candy, and make SURE in the letter it doesn't sound like you want her back.

I like it, except the punctuation and spelling and stuff. I'm a sucker for a letter.

It's fine except for the "so here goes" part. Remove it, and it'll be good for her.
