How many body parts can you live without?

one can lose his:
limbs,eyes,ear pinna,1 kidney, spleen, appendix,cartilagenous part of the nose, breast,thyroid gland,hair,lips,teeth,part of stomach,tongue,some certain veins & arteries & can still b alive..... wow!!

Well, you don't need any of your limbs (as long as you'll have people to help you, and it doesn't help you live long). You don't need your reproductive organs and you can be fine with only 1 of your 2 kidneys. The appendix and gallbladder can also be removed.
People can have no kidneys but must have their blood filtered, you can have no heart/lungs IF you are connected to a heart/lung machine, but you certainly won't live long at all. You don't need a mouth or throat because you can be fed with a feeding tube.
People can even accidently get a nail in their head or have another sort of brain injury and not have brain damage but you can't have all of your brain removed.
You can probably lose any one of your bones and be alright!

Phew! People are amazingly resilient.

You can get by with most of your brain removed if the brain stem is not injured and you're on the heart lung machine. Not much quality of life, and you,re dependent on someone else's brains keeping the machinery going. At this point you would not need any sensory organs.

Well you can live without your appendicts,your spleen,your gallbladder,all sexual organs.My son is living without his right temporal lobe of his brain and part of his frontal lobe.And you can live for awhile without kidneys byway of dialysis.Most of your brain is essential,your heart,1 lung and your liver are essential.I guess diabetics are living without working pancreases also.

The one that, which when removed brings instant death. is the heart. The other is most of the brain.
