I am planning on installing a wired rf modulator in my car, and i need to know wheter I have a standard motorola antenna connector, or a non-standard one. It is for a 1991 lincoln town car. Here are a few pictures: http://www.geocities.com/sajubien/quarter.jpg http://www.geocities.com/sajubien/cable.jpg also, when I install it, it requires a power connection. Where can i connect this to? i have heard that if I connect it to the radio's 12v connection, it creates interference. Where should i connect the power to?

Ford used a standard antenna connection. Hook your power to the accessory circuit on the fuse box!!

Yes, that's a standard Motorola connector. As far as interference, I don't know. If you are putting in a DVD player, be aware that the screen can't be mounted where the driver can see it unless you have it connected so that it only works with the parking brake full on.

sure, that's a coaxial cable with F connector, or Belling Lee (reckoning on the place interior the worldwide you're). If the recorder hasn't an antenna connector, it has no tuner in any respect, so which you decide on an exterior one.

It is standard, but on the short side, some manufactures use a straight plug rather than the right angle type. You may need to get an extender, or you can just straighten the plug if needed...

looks like a standard connector to me, if it plugs in it's ok. You can run a hot wire from anywhere in the fusebox that is hot when you have the key turned on.
