First you should call and make a Dr appt, there is no need to go to the ER unless there are other symptoms. Have you tried rotating the tylenol with some children's Motrin. The Motrin really helps with fever more than Tylenol ever does you can give him one or the other every 2 hours until the fever breaks.

Just ease into getting to know him. Also give him and dad some space at first and then start planning things to do as a family. Find out what he likes and what he doesn't like. The you and him go and do some of the things he likes to do. Let dad be the one to do the disciplining. Plus make sure you and dad are on the same page when it chores, school and such. It will be a major adjustment at first and not easy. Just give it time and if he is a good, easy going type kid, things will be fine. But if he is one of those spoiled brat types that always has to have his way, then you might have your work cut out for you.

I was told by my DR 103 and if it last for MORE than 3 days to take him in. I would call his pediatrician in the morning and see what he/she says.
The people who are saying anything over 100 are full of it. It does not hurt if a child has a low grade fever. It helps with fighting off whatever type of infection he has .

Hope he feels better!!!

Have you checked his throat.. sounds like it could be strep throat or tonsillitis. I would call the doctor. And alternate tylenol and motrin till you can see the doctor. Give tylenol every 4 hours and Motrin every 6 hours.

You should have taken him to teh doctor already. Whenever a child has a fever of over 100 take him to teh daoctor, and if his temp is over 100 now take him to the ER right now get him a shot and some meds and take him home and tomorrow after teh shot he will feel better. Rule of thumb is always take someone to teh doctor whe nthe temp is over 100
