ive known my g/f for 5 months and i want to give her a pearl necklace and a matching set of ear rings on prom night . any ideas how i should go about doing this?

Nice idea. Give them to her in a nice, pretty box with a bow a week or so before prom and tell her what they are for. She may need to adjust her wardrobe to include them.

Give her the pearl necklace before you go out then you can give her the earrings after the prom. Giving her all 3 at once would be hard.

Viagra probably wouldn't hurt.

Depending on how much you want to spend, a local Jewelery store has the real ones and also some nice imitations. Some other outlets like Sears, Walmart, Zellers etc also have jewelery departments, mostly imitation ones but perhaps at a better price than the jewelers..
When you pick her up on prom night, tell her how beautiful she is and state that you bought her a special gift to wear tonight.
You could give it to her earlier than this, but I think this would be the best time.

Does the necklace, and ear rings match her dress? If so then give them to her when you bring her corsage. That way she can sport them at prom. If not, then give them to her when you take her home for the night. For what it's worth, this is a really sweet thing you're doing. Good luck to you, young man.

Wow. You really like her that much huh? Well about I can say for that is good luck. I hope she realizes what you are trying to do. I'm not sure 5 months is long enough to give someone something like that. However that is just one opinion.
Try looking in various Jewelry Stores. See if they can help you out. If not I'm not sure how I could be of any help.

Why don't you get her something less personal. It's only been 5 months.
Are you sure she likes pearls? Do you know what she's wearing to the prom?
Buying jewelry for a girl can be very tricky, it's like buying guys shoes, only you can really pick out the shoes you're willing to wear.
You could by her a corsage for sure, and buy yourself your boutonniere. Rent a limo to pick her up...something a lot less personal but still very memorable.

well first you need money ^_^ and you should surprise when you give it to her for instance maybe you could leave her a note in her locker for her to meet you at a certain place and then give them to her try to get pearls that kind of match her dress for instance if she goes pink they actually have pink pearls haha but white will go good with everything good luck!

I think that is such an awesome idea. I think it would almost be better if you gave them to her before prom night so that she can prepare. Take her out to dinner, or just wrap up a present. For me i think it would be great if you could take her to your guys favorite spot (a look out over your city/town, beach, etc). I think that would be so awesome!!! Good luck!!

wow she is some lucky girl if u like her this much but what u should do is get them then sit her down or even better when u r dancing have them in ur picket then in the middle of a dance not a slow dance u just pull them out of ur pocket and show them to her and but a little note in the case saying i love you that should do it
