You know that the questions in here are not based on the average everyday questions a person might be asking at random so my guess is that we are just doing people's homework for them. It's no wonder america is getting dumber everyday. I remember the day I used to be proud to be one. I think... I dont know. cant remember now. duh

I'm a science teacher. I try to answer in such a way that the student will understand the concept and not just get the answer. If someone just posts a big list of questions, I don't answer.

This is the main aspect of this forum that bothers me. As a teacher of math and science for over 30 years, I want to help the student learn, not give them an answer. It especially bothers me when a math problem is solved and every step is given. I try to give hints that will help the person learn how to solve the problem. If all you do is list all your problems on this forum and copy the answers, you have learned nothing.
I dread getting one of these people as a future doctor or engineer.

How dare you ask that question!!

It's every American child's right to be a lazy bum!!! I mean, it would be faster to just do their own homework, but while you're figuring out their answers, they can play Warcraft or watch a sitcom!! That is much more important.

I know I basically asked this question and got flamed.

Maybe so but what difference does it make how the homework is done. Reading books limits the reader to one point of view but here there are many prrspectives to consider and ponder. Homework should be more fun rather than more work

I know what you mean. It's pathetic. They didn't listen in the first place so it's their fault.
