Just been there...
Sorry about your cat. I had one that died a few months ago and since there were no external marks on him I suspected poisoning too. Sometimes, when they are outdoors, cats and they find antifreeze (on the ground) they will lick it up...they like the taste of it, Supposedly it is sweet to them. Also, a lot of cats have heart problems that go undetected and cause then to die suddenly as well. An autopsy would be very expensive but if you are willing it would be the way to find out about your cats cause of death. Good luck, and sorry again for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. A lot of diseases can manifest and look like the cat was poisoned when it is just a symptom of a disease. I had a wild possum with distemper a couple of years ago in my yard, it would spin around in circles and fall over, I'd put water out for it and it'd trip over the dish. I thought for sure someone had poisoned it but the Animal Control guy said it had distemper and that cats could catch it from wild animals and it was in the environment. Make sure your animals are always up to date on their vaccinations.

Take it to the vet or call animal control/police, they will arrange for a necropsy (animal autopsy) to be performed, because this if your cat was poisoned, whoever did it could face criminal charges on animal cruelty

Full necropsy, but that's expensive, and unless you know or suspect what it was poisoned with, you may not find it. Necropsy is the animal equivalent of an autopsy.

A nacropsey aka autopsy would have to be performed by a professional. If you can't tell from the outside appearence that's my recommendation

You can take the cat to a vet and have it tested (autopsied) for toxic substances. They will take tissue samples and run toxicology tests.

You would have to let the vet do an autopsy.

You could have a necropsy preformed, but that could get expensive
