I've been dating a guy for 6 months and i love him very much.He is everything i could ever want.Sometimes we make mistakes and i made a very bad one.I cheated. So we broke up but we still remained friends. But i thought we could one day get back together. He was invovled in a mix up and ended up in jail for protecting himselfand plus a innocent man got shot in the mix. When we was invovled he use to tell me that if he went to jail he didnt think i could wait on him because i cheated once before. So I wanted to support him and let him know im here for him and i that i love him.Do you think I should writing a letter to him letting him know how i feel because i scared he wont answer it.But i want him to know

I work at a prison that houses 1700 men. Trust me, he wants you to write. The mail is first priority over eating. He needs to know your feelings and that someone is standing behind him in this. If you profess your faithfulness to him now, while in jail, he will really understand how much you care.
I would say you have a 95% chance of getting a letter back from him. If he falls into the 5% range, then apparently the cheating hurt him far worse than you thought.
If nothing but a friendship remains throughout this process and his time served, then you have lost nothing and been there when a friend needed you the most.
You simply have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Write him hun. Tell him how you feel and see what his reaction is. You will never be satisfied until you do and you dont wanna go around the rest of your life wondering about the "shoulda", "coulda", "wouldas". Put your mind at ease.
Good luck hun.

Write the letter Gurl... Do what your hearts lead you to. You might regret it 40 years later, but at least you have done something and not think about, years later " why I did'nt do that" kind of self reflective questioning. you know what I mean...
