Tillman is a fitting name. I am also a fan.
Having said that: Definitely Callan! Callan Salvati sounds strong. Since you are a football family, imagine this scenario:
Your son is a senior in High School and plays receiver on the football team. In the final minutes of a grueling game against his biggest rival, he runs the ball into the end zone to win the game. The announcer Screams: "TOUCHDOWN, CALLAN SALVATI!" And the crowd goes wild.
Insert the other names into the situation and it doesn't sound as great. My opinion.

Did you even consider Tillman as his first name? I've never heard of Callan. (Callahan, yes, but not Callan). Would he have to spell it for everyone all the time? You asked for a choice of the three, not suggestions, so I pick #1 for the reason that Preston is a unique name and so this child needs a unique name, also. That means defintely not James. Happy pregnancy!
