My hair is always greasy, only because my face is, and my hair goes in my face, hence the greasiness. I take a shower at night, and by the next day at school, my hair and face are so oily. I wash my face 3 times a day with a special soap. Is there any other way I can do to help my hair and face from becoming oily without having to wash my face in the school bathroom sink (ick)?
Thanksss.

Like, is there a pad/cloth that takes off oil or whatever? I have to use paper towels, and it doesn't really do anything besides take away the shine, but the oil is still there. Ew.
Oh, and I hardly eat fatty foods. Ickk.

there are pads that you can carry around with you to diminish the grease. i think olay has some and any olay stuff is good. if you don't want to spend money on that, well, you know public bathrooms how they have the toilet seat cover papers? WELL, you can use that too. as long as they haven't touched anythinig else other than your hands when you pulled it out. works the same way. don't wipe your face, cause that will spread the grease. just dab the greasy spots. i know it sucks, my face gets really greasy too.
and as for your hair, if you have bangs in the way pin them back until you can get the face oil contained. otherwise you'll get acne if you leave oily hair on top of your oily face. hair pulled back is in right now so go for it!!! so yea, pin your hair back at night and for the day just do cute hairdos or something with your hair pulled back.
ps. dont touch your face either.
pps. too much of something is never good, so maybe you sould wash your face twice a day instead.

I just went to the doctor yesterday and asked the same question. Her reply: STOP DRINKING SODA! I've used pills, medical creams and ointments, over the counter crap, etc. and of course, nothing has worked for me. I was even thinking of trying ProActive Solution you see on TV. But anyways, the doc said if I lay off the soda completely, my skin will start to improve. I used to have acne extremely bad but now it went down a lot. My only problem area is around my mouth. One other thing I do to keep my skin dry (I have oily skin): I go tanning a few times a week. This dries out my pores and has cleared up about 95% of my skin. And the benefit...you look great! The only bad thing is it greatly increases chances of skin cancer, and it's a pretty expensive treatment for acne. It's a win or loose situation, I guess. But that's what works the best for me so far. Now I will try to lay off the soda and see how much that helps. Hope this was some what useful. For a face pad, I do have good luck with Oil of Olay Total Effects Wet Cleansing Cloths. They come in a resealable pack of 30 for around $8.00. Good luck!

There are a few things I can think of. First when you put your conditioner in your hair, don't put it on the top of you head as it will make it more greasy. Only use it to like the top of your ears. Second, talk to your dr about a face soap that will help with your oily skin. Third, try Acne free, or clear n clean, they're for acne but they help majorly with oily skin.

Try oxy pads and a nuetrogena scrub. For your your hair, why not try non-greasy hair shampoo? It is sooo cool, and it doesn't take away the shine! There are other good shampoos that get rid of the greasyness, but let go of the shine. For your non-shiny hair, you can try citre-shine hair spray. And continue not to eat any fatty foods!

maybe its just a phase. .. like acne. you could use those oil blotting tissues -- but i think theyre just more for shine and show anyway. sometimes i find that there is such thing as overwashing.. maybe try cutting down on the 3 times a day thing so that your face can become conditioned to needing only 1 washing a day. goodluck

I'm not positive but I don't think you should eat much chocolate. I did that once and had no zits, but the next day my face was covered in them. Be sure to wash your face daily and all I have to say for your hair is wash it daily, be sure to not use too much conditioner and wash it all out.

for hair, use baby powder on your scalp, then blend it with a hairbrush. and try washing with a clear shampoo.
for face, use biore pore perfect clay mask, that stuff works great.
also, over washing your face more than twice a day causes you skin to produce even more oil, so only wash it morning and night.

clean & clear oil blotting sheets work really well. Also just was twice a day with a gentle cleanser like cetaphil, so your not overdrying your skin, which makes it produce more oil.

You say you wash your face with something three times a day, have you ever thought that it could be the problem. Just saying, that could be it.
