that's sweet
just tease about it, joke around about the movie or try doing a double date then arrange for another one without the other ppl coming with you.
sometimes it depends on how to approach the girl is you're not very close friends with her. all I can say is just go up and ask her.
"Hey I was wondering if I could get your opinion on a movie, maybe you can help me decide if its as great as everyone says if you come with me." joke around like that.

Pay attention to her body language. Pay attention to what she says. If she seems standoffish, don't put your arm around her. As long as you make her feel that she is the most important part of the night, everything should go well. Getting popcorn, or something you will share is a good idea as well. Smile at her often, and show her that you are interested in her. That is the key. If she is comfortable with you, she'll let you get closer.
