When girls say your "just" a friend is it their way of saying your ugly etc.,etc. only in a nice way?Or Do they value you as a friend so much they dont want to mess that up?It seems like someone would rather go out with a person who's their friend rather than someone who will leave after a few days or is a jerk.

It simply means, you're not getting any. They like giving it to the hot bad boys and using the "just friend" guy to cry on his shoulder and ask him why the bad boy was such a jerk. Then they go out and boink the bad boy again cause he said, "I'm sorry, can we start over"...stuff like that.

It depends on what kind of relationship you already have with the girl.
If she is your girlfriend and she wants to be just friends now, it is her way of blowing you off. She'll say that in hopes that you won't be upset and blow up at her.
If she is already your friend and she tells you that, it is because she senses you want more and she doesn't. From now on, she will forever be on her guard with you. Your call on how to proceed from there!
Why to all the above? Probably not because you're ugly but if you ARE ugly, she'd be the wrong girl for you anyway (because she thinks you are and you'd want someone that doesn't) so don't sweat it.

Sometimes when girls or guys say they just want to be good friends AFTER theyve had a relationship with you that was more than that...its almost for sure that they don't know what else to say to you. But, other times if a girl meets you and just wants to keep you as a friend she might be sincere and just highly values you as such. She might be afraid to ruin the friendship that she enjoys. You might want to ask her a few more questions as to why she wants to only be your friend. You cant be a mind reader!

Is all a bunch of boloney if you ask me. It just means that they don't like you that way. So, after getting that notice move on cause it aint going to happen with that particular chick. As far as I see it there is no point in wasting more time. That doesn't mean you can't talk to her again. It just means that you accept that you won't get what you want so why waste more time. Well, unless you really apreciate the friendship. But trust me it ain't going to change. She will only be your friend no more.

You should BE HAPPY that she says "just friends." No it doesn't mean you're ugly, it means that she can only think of you as a friend and not someone she can be intimately involved with in a bf/gf relationship.
The compatibility you guys have is good enough to be friends, according to her point of view. You can't make someone love you, and you just can't make people like you either. Friends really are hard to find, so be happy for that relationship of friendship that you have with her.

yes, i'm pretty sure that this is their nice way of saying that they aren't attracted to you.. i've heard this before.. interestingly enough, when i tried to develop a friendship, as they suggested, then ran further away!
i agree, i'd rather date a friend that a stranger who may be a jerk.. but hey, girls are strange! they tend to fall for the jerks.. not quite sure why, it's sad actually..

yeah actually from my expierences it has been. but then agin i have only been truned down by like 5 girls my entire life im 20. but it just means there not intrested in you but it dosent mean that they dont wanna hang out anymore. but it hard to deal with that when you want that person. i know how that is its not a plesent feeling. just because they say they just wanna be friends dont mean your ugly dude. if they think that believe me they would tell you that. so your other answer is correct.

It means that they don't feel any sexual chemistry with you. Not that you are ugly. Maybe the friendship thing too.
You can't force romance, and trying to is miserable. Just relax and keep looking for someone who is interested in dating, and let your friends be friends.

Yup, some girls are like that, they like you but are just not to sure, so they rather keep you around and maybe a better one comes up. Man, girls are greedy nowadays. It alll depends on your faith and patience. At the end of the day, ask yourself. Worth it?

Look, just becasue a girl doesn't want to be with you doesn't mea ur ugly.
I have a friend, he's an actor, a model, even has a couple of underwear shoots. True, he usually doesn't get shot down, but you know what? I've heard girls tell him the same damn thing.
Just get over it. They don't want to be with you ROMANTICALLY or SEXUALLY. They just want to be like, you know, a friend.
