Stay out of State, or turn yourself in when you get back...looks better to the Judge if you do.

Boy, this is a tough one. Since you can't decide what to do, then try this. Get in your car, drive to the state where the bench warrant is. Now, every time you see a cop, honk at him, give him the 1 finger salute, throw your empty Tequila bottle at his car, then burn out of there as fast and reckless as can be done, and I'll bet that cop will make sure you do the right thing. They are very good at that kind of stuff. Now, if you decide to try this, could you let me know when and where, cuz I would love to capture this on video. If Tequila isn't your choice, use your favorite flavor. P.S. To the snivelers, it's only a joke, so no need to pout. Laugh more, it feels great.

Contact a lawyer in the state you have the bench warrent. If you can't afford a lawyer talk with legal services, they work on sliding scale but at least can tell you what to do. Show them the letter or read it over the phone to them so they know where they stand as far as how far proceddings against you have gone.
After you've contacted a lawyer or legal services let them contact this laywer who sent the letter on your behalf.

GOOD LUCK

Hire an attorney in that state to deal with the matter.
You would not want to get stopped for a traffic violation and get arrested and tossed in slammer without any chance of bond/bail.

Don't do anything without the advice of a decent lawyer.

Contact the court (by phone if you wish) and explain. Sometimes they will quash a warrant and reissue you a court date. It couldn't hurt.
