The 'code' you're referring to doesn't work on all soda machines. It only works with select models. 4231 is the right code for the ones for certain models.

its a secret combination of the flavor buttons that you can press such as coke, coke, diet coke, dr.pepper, coke, sprite. after the code has been entered you may then pick a flavor and it will dispense. i know coca cola machines used to have them, i'm not sure about other brands.
