A glauconitic sandstone could yield fertility. It has sand grains for structure, and glauconite has potassium which is a soil nutrient. Frequently clays are in association, and these are critical for soil. A glauconitic sandstone may also be called a glauconitic lithic arenite if little clay is in the rock.

Many rocks contain soil nutrients, in fact all soil ultimately comes from rocks.
