Besides the fact that you could choke on the gum as it goes down the throat, i dont think there are hazards, your stomach might not be able to digest it though.

No, its just a myth that it sits in your stomach for 7 years. It gets digested just like food. If you chew it for awhile it will fall apart so 7 years of stomach acid will surely digest it.

gum does NOT sit in your stomach for years, that is an old wive's tale.

It will eventually pass like any edible item.

However, it can be easy to choke on, so be careful with that.

i have been told by my parents that gum sits in your stumache for 7-10 years. so yeah thats bad i think
