You need to provide more information, i.e. what type of visa have you lodged (child visa or student visa) and which embassy have you lodged your application at.

It is not uncommon for an embassy to request further documents and an interview after an application has been lodged - this on its own is not a reason to be concerned.

If you have lodged a student visa application then the embassy will need to be satisfied that you have met the entry level requirements for that course.

I don't work in an Australian Embassy, but I am Australian. And unfortunately, we have some tough immigration laws. But don't fret. They probably only want to see your College transcript record, as an indication that you are educated and you were part of an institution. They want to see that you have qualifications which would be viable in this country. So you can join our work force and therefore assist our economy. Or some crap like that.
There would be other more pressing matters of concern to the Immigration Department other than your academic record. It would be criminal background, how much money you have, (or the potential to earn), your level of english etc.

Good luck with it tho. It will be a long process, but be patient!
