Not necessarily. I'm an artist and red isn't always used to show anger. It is commonly used for romance, warmth, love. These I'd say are quite contrary to anger. Bright red can be exciting, lively while a real dark burgundy or umber can be earthly and cozy. I guess it just depends on how you feel about the shade of the red you want.

Absolutely NOT!
It means the person liks the color red. Period.
Red is considered the color of love and passion.
Have you ever heard the story of the boy who only colored with a black crayon?
His parents took him to doctors and psychiatrists, hooping to cure hs obvious depression.
After months of trying to figure out why the boy was so depressed, they finally asked him, "Johnny, why do you always color with the black crayon? what is making you so sad?". the boy lookedd at them all, confusion on his face and said "I'm not sad. I pick the black crayon because it is the only one the teacher has left by the time I get to her desk". Seems the boy was not depressed at all, just a little lazy!
The moral is, do not assume anything or immiedately apply psychological mumbo jumbo to a situation.

No, it only means that the person who wanted it painted that color likes red. Actually, when it is used as a 'wall color' any 'red' is actually 'relaxing' and also feels very 'rich' ... which is why so many (ahem)houses have so much 'red furniture' and 'red walls' in them ... to help the men 'relax' ...

i;m not sure what it means but i read in a parenting magazine that you shouldn't paint a childs room red (especially a hyperactive kids) because there is something about the color that makes them really high strung.

Romance or love are possibilities too.
Or perhaps there is no hidden meaning other that a simple like for that color. Maybe, perhaps?

Not the most rest inducing color. It's a chic and fun color, but not for a bedroom. You'll be exhausted everyday.
