Yes with a salvage title car you need to take pictures of the damage fix the car and have it inspected then your title will say previously salvaged. You will be able to register it and you will be able to get insurance. Insurance companies do not care if the car was previously salvaged.

1. Get a "Bill of sale" from the seller. 2. Make sure the "VIN" (vehicle I.D. number) on the Title (pink slip) matches that of the cars. Make sure your not buying a stolen car. 3. Make sure it's legal to be on the street, brakes and lights working. Not smoking. No mechanical defects such as broken tail lights or windshields. 4. Take to mechanic for inspection. 5. Take to "DMV" for further info. Make sure your not responcible for past parking tickets. Note: Make sure car will pass SMOG inspection and if not what will the cost be? Repairs could make the final cost of the car more than you wanted to spend.

A salvage titled automobile might nicely be a very large good purchase. i've got owned 4 salvage titled autos and different "sparkling titled" autos. i've got had extra appropriate success with the salvaged titled automobiles. i do no longer care what variety of call a "used" automobile has. in case you're identifying to purchase "as is" you may desire to be identifying to purchase a pig in a poke, whatever. Even variety new automobiles are not continually stable, else-sensible there would not be a "Lemon regulation" on the books. so which you're taking a huge gamble whatever. i'm nonetheless in possession of two salvage automobiles. One has a "wiped sparkling' call and automobile Fax tells that its twist of destiny unfastened, (in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it relatively is been wrecked, you may certainly tell) so which you would be able to no longer thoroughly have faith something. the automobile became into offered to me via a incredible dealership as a sparkling titled automobile, yet I knew what i became into doing so I have been given them to extraordinarily much provide it to me. the different automobile has a salvage call. i offered it in 2001 with 28K on it and it has 157K on it now. It nonetheless has the unique battery in it! i've got by no potential had issue getting "finished coverage" and that i did no longer have issue getting a private loan on it the two.

You can't insure it, so you can't tag it. Don't be drain on society by driving around without tags and insurance. When you take out a family and tell the courts you're broke you should be put in prison. Sorry - I've been hit by two deadbeats already.
