My ford econoline 5.0 started to run rough a few days ago. When i start the van the engine runs rough at idle and sometimes stalls, but when I drive and accelerate it runs normal.When I come to stop at a light the engine stalls at idle. What could be the problem with my engine or part? Thanks for everyone that helps me out.

Sounds like an idle air control valve, if its FI, clogged or dirty carb if carbuerated

maybe you need to get your carburetor/ or fuel injectors cleaned. Try to put 93 octane next time, that's helped me before, or try pouring a bottle of GUMOUT carb/ fuel inj cleaner in your fuel tank. Maybe you just need a tune up, some new spark plugs & wires might do the trick.

needs tuned up , maybe a plugged injector, idle controll solenoid sticking. I know this is not a lot of help but I would try a tune up first.

check for a vacuum leak those old hoses get brittle with age, at higher RPMs you don't notice the low vacuum as much

check your vacume lines sounds to me Their is a vacume leak
