We are in college Bible class! I am the only guy in there at times and she's not always where she can see me directly, but she plays with her hair constantly during class! She knows I like her and we talk some, but I am shy and have trouble talking to her. Sometimes she will come in and put on lip gloss. She wont engage eye contact, but she looks at me when I speak in class as long as I am not looking at her. If she catches eye contact she looks away. Does it freak her out that I like her? ...and she's trying to avoid me???

Maybe she likes you back and she doesn't know how to act around you. I'm completely that way. When I read that I thought of me. Like when I see the guy I like I'm always trying to watch him, but look away when he looks at me. It's weird, but it's kind of a sub-conscious thing. I'd just talk to her, conversation is always a good thing.

if you are the only guy there when she does this then its either shes GAY and likes a girl in there OR she likes you! every girl knows that to flirt with a guy at long distances you stare at him until he looks at you then when eyecontact is made you quickly look away then look back. shes flirting with you! she is flirting -- just 'cause it's Bible class doesn't mean she can't engage her god-given libido full throttle. she's wanting you to pursue her... and she's probably frustrated that the signals have to be so many but so subtle. talk to her, be respectful, and find out where it takes yo.

she might like you. when i like somone i dont make eyecontact because i am scared to communicate with them in anyway. i just dont look at them when they look at me. ask her out. she knows you like her maybe shes just scared to admit she likes you.
