striping my dyed brown hair back to my natural red?

after its striped will it go back to my natural red colour?? how much will this cost in ireland... thanks i no a girl and it cost her 270euro to get her red back and it didn work tat well,,

No - it won't return to your natural red color. The bleach used to remove the brown dye will bleach out some of your natural color too. The dye impregnates the cuticle of your hair shaft. It doesn't coat it like a layer of mascara or nail polish.

Re: cost - depends on the salon. You might consider having the brown toned down and having a reddish brown put in instead of stripping out the dark brown entirely.

As it grows out, a stylist can integrate reddish highlights to help during the transition.

It won't go back to your natural color; you'll need to dye your hair again, back to your natural color. The chemicals used to strip the color need to be covered back up with something or else your hair will be very damaged. A friend of mine did this and didn't realize you had to re-dye your hair. She went out in the sun and it turned her hair nearly transluscent and fried it something terrible.
I have no idea how much this will cost in Ireland, but here you can buy the products to do it yourself and it would cost about $30 for the dye stripping and red dye.
