NO, the bone can cause more damage coming out that way. I would call a vet, and ask them what to do. They will probably have you wait a few days and see if it passes before they do much.

There are only 2 things that can happen. If you're lucky, the dog will pass the bone through it's system. My dog has pooped such wonderful things are gloves, whole crayons, cat toys. The other scenario would be the bone getting lodged somewhere, or ripping through the intestines. I would find a 24 hour vet office and call to speak to a vet tech. They are super helpful and can tell you exactly what you should be looking for. Good luck, it happens to all of us at some point!

Definitely do not induce vomiting b/c it will cause even more damage on the way up. Call the emergency vet and ask them for advice. It makes a big difference if the dog truly swallowed it or chewed it up and ate it. If it was swallowed whole, you have a big problem and it will probably need to be removed by surgery. It it was chewed up first, it could cause intenstinal damage but they will probably just keep a close eye on him/her and look for signs of intestinal problems.

If it was whole, get him to a vet, it can perferate the internal organs and he will die, if it was in pieces, watch him for the next 12-24 hours, give him olive oil to coat the lining of his gut and make sure it passes, if he is blocked or in pain get to a vet right away. Then make sure it doesn't happen again

No that bone can't come back up
just let the vet handle it. In the mean time watch for bloody stool. That means it has already torn up his insides in that case take your dog in as an emergency.

FIRST THINGS FIRST YOU CAN'T GIVE YOUR DOG A BONE UNLESS IT IS A MILK BONE OR A CHEW BONE BECAUSE IT IS NOT HEALTHY FOR DOGS. TAKE YOUR DOG TO THE VET AND I THINK THE VOMITING UP HELPS JUST KEEP AN EYE ON HIM!

Definately not! Vomiting it up could do much more damage. You need to contact a vet immediately.
