I am trying to find a opening scene for a pageant for my college Ms. Wilberforce. Do anyone has any suggestion. One idea was to have the contestants act like they are statues in a wax musuem. Any other unique ideas?

If its...
During the winter: A holiday theme would be good, with snowflakes and santa's little helpers, etc.
During the spring: Flowers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
During the fall: Leaves, scarecrows, halloween type stuff.
During the summer: beach!!! Swimsuits, mermaids, fish, etc.
Anytime: Around the world would be cool. Anything is possible! Sleep on it!

I don't know of your budget limit or production crew abilities, but you could possibly have them each enclosed in some type of ridged structures to simulate flower pedals. The structures opening can immulate a blossoming effect.
