This is a everyday battle. I do follow God. Sometimes the Holy spirit is quenched. This is what makes it a everyday battle. Everyone doesn't understand or they just do not want to follow God. Then some are afraid. Then there are choices that everyone can make.

First they would have to wake up from the limitations of there current understanding. It is human nature to reinforce what we already believe. Once you relize there is so much more than what we know we start looking for higher and greater things. first outside our selves then from within. Once you seek a personal realtionship with God he will find you no matter how you start out if you persist the truth will always win.
And to those of you who don't think your life could possably be better, how sad for you, theres always room for growth and more joy, pleasure happiness, beauty. What do you look forward to?
And satin well he just the stuff of lies and fears.
if god is all that there is, Satin is all that there is not.
People fall for these lies that there is not enough and fear like faith has a perverted power to bring forth the illision of the things you fear. False Evedice Appearing Real f.e.a.r.
If you knew you would be happier doing something different you would.
you are in the end nothing more and nothing less than you think you are.

Why cant more people just see that Odin is who they should be following?
why is it so hard for people to understand this? I know Loki is good at what he does by trying to cloud peoples minds, but following Odin would be much easier. If people only knew how much happier they could be.

Every religion on Earth feels that they are the 'one true religion' and therefore, only 'their' God is the true God. If that is the case, then no one follows 'God' because every 'God' someone follows is the wrong one according to some other religion.
I, personally, don't worship 'God'. I believe there is Light, and there is Dark. One cannot exist without the other. If you remove all Dark, then you cannot know what Light is. If you remove all Light, there is no Dark, for it is all you know.
What I believe is not what others believe, but I do not say they are right or wrong. We all have to find our own Path. And if the God you believe in is a benevolent, loving God, He will understand and accept that we all believe differently. If He wished all to believe in Him exactly as you do, then, being all-powerful, all-knowing, He could do so.

Not everyone is going to see things the way you do, and the evidence that convicts you is very unlikely to do the same for others. You act like the God you worship is just as clear and blatantly obvious as grass being green. He's not. There are lots of books and lots of ways to interpret those books. There are lots of cultures, lots of life circumstances, and lots of different temperaments. And even in the case of the grass, some people were born blind or color-blind.

This is one of the most ignorant questions i have ever seen, and frankly people like this creep me out. People like this just don't seem sensible and this is why i'll never believe in god. They try to say every other religion is with the devil at the top as their deity and then try to force other to believe in god and become christian and if they don't then they say with a simple, "you'll burn in hell."
Get this, there is no heaven or hell, its just earth, humans are gods more than how god will ever be, believe in yourself and then you won't ever need a savior.

Do I have to believe in talking serpents to follow God? I don't know if it's the devil or not, but my mind gets real clouded up when I try to believe in talking serpents.

Because we are not all mindless followers. We are all unique and have our own brains and individuality. If we were all carbon copies of each other in this world, it would be very boring.
Why can't you be more open minded only thinking your way is the right way?

What about "free will"? I'm exercising my "free will" in not believing. Don't forget Jesus said to shake the dust from you're sandals and walk away. Maybe you should practice that and let people approach you if they are interested, rather than using emotional blackmail.

Some people need proof. Why can't others understand that?
I believe in God, but I understand why many do not.
