lol You know, I actually saw a story on the news a few weeks ago...
How Many Licks to the Center of a Tootsie Pop?
"10-year-old James Johnson says he licked the sweet treat 1,282 times to get to the chocolate-filled center.
James put together a handwritten letter to a Twins Cities TV station saying, "I'm not a scientist, but I licked my lollipop 1,282 times until I got to the tootsie roll center."
And just how did he keep track of each and every one of those lovely licks?
Simple-- he counted 10 licks at a time, recorded it on a piece of paper and then added them all together."

I actually tried this and counted every lick it took 2 and a half hours and 1534 licks to get to the center. (this was only on one side so...)
