Just kinda curious is to why people think looks are such a big deal...yeah i can say i look for someone cute but if i met someone with a great personality and i fell into like/love with them but they weren't the cutest...than i wouldn't care..but i was just wondering what other people think

why settle for only one? i'm pretty sure you can find someone who has both. just have to look for both. i've had my fair share of hotties and girls with great personalities, but i'm never satisfied enough.

Here's the run down on this. You can have the greatest personalitly in the world but if your the hunchback of notre dame then no one is going to give you the time of day. People will always say personality because they don't want to be the person who says looks matters. In the long run personality matters...but to meet that person first looks is what matters.

Personality, because a person with a great personality looks even better. A bad personality makes someone ugly no matter how they look.

They're both important in different ways. Personality is more important in my opinion, because you don't fall in love with someone based on the way they look. Although you can't love someone you don't find atleast a little attractive, looks aren't everything.

Personality definitely wins on this one. It is nice to be pretty. And because of hormones, we are more attracted to those that look nice. But beauty fades. People with character will still have it.
I happen to be blessed and found a girl with both!

Personality 60% - Looks 40% (looks is also important)
to be a long lasting one..
good personality will be wonderful for sure..
but remember,
looks will be a big deal too.. as for yourself & your social life..

definatly personality, If there was someone that was the hottest girl I've ever seen, but acted like a bitc* and was a total snob, I wouldnt want to be around her. That would be like a one night stand kind of thing

You have to be attracted to someone of course. But if they are shallow and have no personality its a lost cause. Looks can only get you so far and then you are on your own.

personality - someone that treats you good!!!
My boyfriend at the moment isnt the "hottest guy with a six pack" etc.. but he treats me so well!! He respects me and loves me and thats what i want.... looks are good... if he treats you the same... but looks fade with time... we are all going to end up old and wrinky in the end anyway... !
