My canned meat fav is a cross between Spam & Vitarroz Corned Beef. I love em both. My canned food would have to be Chicken Of The Sea Tuna & Ice Poin'ts Canned Salmon.

My favorite canned *meat*--it's a tie between Treet (cheaper than Spam and works just as well) and almost any canned Salmon (yummy).
As far as canned *food*--Pineapple. Chunk Pineapple. ^_^ Definitely. It's one of the few canned fruits that seems to hold on to both texture and flavor really well usually, no matter who cans it.
Oh....and Corned Beef Hash....that is an occasional guilty pleasure too (I know it is way *way* too salty and greasy for it to be healthy, but once in a while...yow, it's pretty close to Thanksgiving dinner in a can, in terms of satisfying *my* appetite anyway).

We only feed grain-free canned or homemade (ran my recipe past my vet) and the cats all have different favorites. My four "normal" cats (2 1-year olds and 2 4-month old kittens) ADORE my homemade chicken (cooked, with lots of supplements), and my three "weird" cats (all adopted as adults from homes where only dry food was given) prefer a variety of canned food. All of these are high-quality, and grain-free. The first 2-3 ingredients are some form of "meat". Note that we don't feed beef (makes one of my boys barf) and I severely limit the amount of fish they get, so I only feed seafood if it's whole, ground up fish. Dave's - either the Chicken or Turkey flavors The cats like it and it's the cheapest. BG (Before Grain) - the Quail is their general favorite flavor. Natural Balance - they like every flavor we've fed them. Merrick's - Grammy's Pot Pie is their favorite , yet they dislike the Turducken flavor. Weird, no? Nature's Variety Instinct - They like the Rabbit, Duck, and Chicken the best. The Venison is much more expensive, and they didn't love it. Bottom line...they like Dave's, it's less than half the price of NVI, and it's healthy.

I don't eat canned foods anymore, but I have fond memories of fried Spam that had been coated in flour and brown sugar and creamed corn.

White Albacore Tuna in Water is my favorite. You know most people will answer "Spam". that's what people think of when you say "Canned Meat".

Definitely Spam. How do you eat yours? If you haven't tried it on bread w/mustard, try it. And it's also good on bread w/a scrambled egg. YUM-OH!
