Have you been on a summer Project with Campus Crusade for Christ?? If so, where did you go (location)??

I'm looking into going and would love to get some info. I'm signed up to go to Hampton beach, NH.

So what can i look forward to in getting into Summer Projects and will there be a lot of discipleship training?? I hope so!!

I went to Calgary about 10 years ago. They don't even have the Calgary Project anymore.

It wasn't a really good summer.

Make sure you get a good summer job, not just any one. I got a summer job helping those who were dying (because I had a diploma from a previous colledge in that area). It was just not the summer to get close to people only to watch the die.

My suggestion: work anywhere that isn't that stressful.

I didn't get that many nights of full sleep.

It seems really great and big at the time, but in all honesty, I'm not in contact with a single member from cursade anymore. Some of them I don't even know their names. I learned that cursade wasn't for me, and I went back to university, disalusioned.

Hope everything goes well with you.

Why don't you ask staff, what they have to say?

I stopped with the Campus Crusade for Christ when I got handed tracts and pamphets on How to Witness to Catholics, How to Witness to Lutherns. I read them, as a Christian, with horror-fascination. That was in the late 70s and I never looked back.

I hope the new projects have improved. Peace be with you.

I did hang out with them in university but never on full summer retreat thing

I would imagine that yes, there would be tons of training and sharing, based on the kinds of people involved.
