It is not advisable to attempt to fish a soggy biscuit from a cup/mug of very hot coffee with your fingers....been there, done that, read the book, seen the film, got the Tshirt!

As a dunker myself i recommend wealthy Tea Biscuits or Ginger Nuts, in case you pick to flow wild interior the aisles then Custard creams are scrumptious. i'd recommend a spoon interior the saucer as well, on an similar time as a dunker I hate it even as the biscuit drops into my tea! Spell examine does no longer like the note dunker, although that is the right call for someone who dunks biscuits into their tea.

Depends on the biscuit, if were talking chocolate hob nobs then just leave it, they create a nice sugary sediment with all that choclate etc. If a rich tea falls in then i'd get a spoon, they just look like baby sick in the bottom of a cup, just cant bring myself to eat that residue.
Custard creams with their 2 layers of biscuit and hard texture make ideal dunking fodder, much less chance of breakage.
As a total (and rather disgusting) aside the bloke I sit next to at work dunks his bananas into his hot chocolate drink - he's a bit wierd.

If you can't retrieve it straight away with a spoon, leave it to settle and remember what it is at the bottom of the cup when you come to it.
Gave up dunking years ago after loosing to many biscuits to the dregs.

Fish it out with a spoon quick before it's too late. Once it's gone your tea's ruined with bits of drowned biscuit.
Make sure you dunk with a hobnob. Those bad boys can suck up a whole cup of tea and go back for more.
Or bite the opposite corners off a Penguin and use it to suck your tea through like a straw. Then shove the whole Pengiun in your mouth and enjoy the hot melted choclate that's inside.
Mmmmm. I'm off to put the kettle on!!
