I need to keep luggage weight down as new rules only allow 23kg on BA. Hardsided cases preferred, but need to get really light ones. Thanks for any help.

try the samsonite brand - pricey but well constructed lightweight luggage

Luggage no matter how good it is made will get damaged if
rough handled.I use a norm of 6 or 8 trips then throw the case away.I bought one large 28inch case and 1 hand baggage with wheels from Matalan for £21 the pair.They are excellent quality.You may also try Woolworths.But in choosing the high the Denier that is material strengh the better the case.The ones made from fibre are a complete waste of money they break.
