Is the last drink in a can/cup/glass mostly spit?

I don't think it is, but all my friends say so. Tell me.

Probably not, but I'm not sure. I think that when you backwash (and all people do, no matter how hard you try not to), your spit is evenly distributed in whatever you're drinking. When two liquids meet, they mix together until they are evenly distributed. It is called something, but I can't remember what, I learned it in science class.

Can has less of an opening and will create more backwash from your mouth. If you drink with a straw that will have more. Saliva sounds better, then saying spit. Spit is when you attentional fling out saliva. Saliva tends to weigh more then your common beverage drinks. The last sip, may be up to 50% backwash if your baby... they drool more. The last drink would not be mostly "spit" if it was, you would be able to tell.

Well, not in mine, but you may have a pretty high drool factor, so... it's hard to say. Try spitting a lot into a glass and then drink it. Does it taste like the last drink in your glass normally does? You better try this several times to be sure...

personally i would say yes.. if you backwash every 5 seconds. i mean if you take a sip spit it back in and drink it (which is completely disgusting i might add) then what you are drinking is mostly spit.

Only if you drink like a toddler and backwash half of every sip!
Most of us learn not to do that by the time we're 5 or 6...

i dont think so, u can even look in the cup to check the consistency. but if ppl wanna b that technical, then if u eat with a spoon or fork and u lick it everytime u put it in your mouth, you're still eating back your own spit. right?
