if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,.
righteousness is right standing with God, and to be cleaned from unrighteousness, means to be put in right standing with God, so if we confess our sins we have nothing to fear because when He forgives He forgets.

try having a look at what the Buddhists say.
if i was you, I'd forget the heavy guilt trip that the Christians will lay on you and that you're laying on yourself.
Look within. If you are considering doing something that will feel bad, why go with a bad feeling?
Try the complete opposite. Try doing good things. Forget the past - you cannot change what has gone before. What you CAN change is what is going on right now! Compassion, Love and Respect are all right actions which will make you feel WONDERFUL!!!! They'll also make you a better person, increase your Karma and eventually take care of the "bad" things you've done in the past.
The other thing that I'm thinking is as a 14 year old, you've not been on the planet long enough to have done anything really "bad" as such! Taking another's life or their freedom - they're "bad" things, but can still be absolved by the grand Karma thing....Kinda like a set of scales, where your previous bad deeds are weighed against the good which you do which go on the other side. Eventually, the good outweighs the bad and you're a better person for it.
This whole "going to heaven and hell" thing is a bit nonsensical in my eyes. "fear" is not a good thing in anyone's books!!! Karma is something that you can see with your heart. Heaven and Hell are reliant on death for an answer. Karma is NOW.
One last thing - Take Responsibility for your actions. All of them. If something feels good, do it. But think of the consequenses for all other life. This is called "anarchy" - not the chaotic variety, but the tangible version which guarantees that you will live a good life!
Good luck to you!!!
Love and Light,
Jarrah

Don't do any more promising. Just turn from your sins and ask God for help. He's there for you. The blood of his perfect Son is sufficient to cleanse all your sins.
If you are Born Again, and confess your sins God will forgive them and cleanse you of all unrighteousness.
When you go to heaven, you will be clothed in light. You will be changed. You will not have your current body but a spiritual one, free from all the lusts, all the grumpies, all the jonesings, all the sicknesses. Old things will have passed away. This is not because of what you've done, but what Jesus has done on the cross. You will be recieving HIS reward,in heaven. He has bought you with his blood. Did he buy you just so he could ream you out when you got home to Him? No, he bought you so He could sanctify you, clothe you in white, and dry your every tear and say "Well done, good and faithful servent"
I have been in the position of fearing both heaven and hell. I remember it, and all I can say is "Hang in there!" There is more for you. Read your Bible, keep praying, and worship the Lord, because he is good. God will bring you through this, and you will know that you are His. He loves you, he knew the bad things you'd do when he died on the cross for you and He did it anyway.

Well, I'm 28 and I've done some VERY bad things in my life. I have violated at least 7 of the 10 commandments. The point is, God loves me, and if I am sorry for doing the bad things, he will forgive me. I am still human, though, so I still make mistakes. You should NEVER fear Heaven. You are God's child. It sounds like you want to believe, but don't feel you deserve to be forgiven.
Is there a pastor or minister you could talk to?

I used to have an Atheistic point of view. I stayed away from drugs, alcohol, and sex when I was younger not for God or for the hear of Hell, but for me. I had good morals but I did nothing for God, I really didn't think about Him of talk about Him or even really believe in Him. I came to know Jesus as my lord and Savior and that made me even a better person, on top of what my morals were already. All the things that are difficult for me to overcome came within me, but that strength is a gift from God. I do everything that I do for God now, not because of fear of Hell, but because of thankfulness and Love of God. Many people do believe out of fear but some also believe out of love! Great Question, star for you :)

Man has always had problems that is why brother Paul said that if you could stay the course it is better to devote your time to the calling of faith. If the urges are too great to control than it is better to take a mate, Man is built with some uncontrollable urges so don't feel alone. That is why Jesus came here to walk among the people and learn what sin was like from our point and thus he has an understanding what you are going through!!

God doesn't exist; neither do heaven or hell. They're just places made up to entice/scare believers.
If you've really done bad stuff, the kind that hurts other people, find a way to make it up to them; if you can't, figure out how to make the world a better place than it would have been without you.
Oh, and try reading The God Delusion. Email or IM me if you don't have a copy handy.

Start acting not out of fear of retribution, but motivated by a desire to do good for good's sake, and then sit down and think about what is truly good for this world and for yourself. Fear of personal loss is a poor reason to do or not do anything, as it implies that you don't really care about what you're doing for its own sake.
I personally think that you should take a deep breath and then have a few long conversations with your parents or guardians, as well as with other mentors in your life, about good and evil in general and about where your life is going. Unless, of course, they're the ones who are instilling this overblown fear in you, in which case please contact a teacher or counselor (via teen help hotlines, for example) whom you can trust and who will give you sound, rational advice.
I also think that you don't need to live with a fear of God, heaven, hell, or even a belief in any of the three, in order to be a good person, but that's a conclusion I have come to in my own life after many years of struggle and self-reflection, and may not be the answer you arrive at. Your answers need to be your own.

You can't enter heaven with sins in your life. The answer is quite simple. Confess your sins to Jesus Christ through faith in His shed blood to atone (forgive, cleanse, cover) your sins. He will make you a NEW CREATURE in Him. You cannot trust in your own will power to keep you from sinning. You (all mankind actually) must rely upon the righteousness of Christ and take on His nature by allowing Him to live in our hearts and write His laws there. Jesus will further sanctify those who seek Him with a whole heart and take the desire to sin away.
Then, and only then, will you be glad to face God with Jesus as your lawyer/advocate/mediator and High Priest. His blood alone placed upon the mercy seat allows us into the presence of God. There is no reason to fear judgment when you have a clean conscience before God and man and walk Godly in this present world. You can crucify the flesh with/through/by Christ Jesus.
Fear of hell isn't much motive or understanding of the nature of God or indicative of a mature relationship with Him or clear understanding of His Word. Read the Word of God. He has a plan for your life and "In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Never Fear (be Scared of) GOD, GOD Loves you and will Never Leave you nor Forsake you.
And, GOD will Forgive you Over and Over as you Work Towards getting out of Sinning.
This is Common in the Family of GOD.
Some People take Years getting out of a Certain Sin. They Mess up Over and Over, But, They Never Give Up.
GOD wants you to Never Give Up and HE will always Love you and Forgive you.
Always Run Towards GOD no-matter What you do--Good or Bad!

Well sweetie, we've all done bad things. The great news is that God is the most-forgiving. Just turn to Him and ask forgiveness, and strive towards not doing those bad things again. Remember that there is only one God, and that this life is a test to determine where we're going to go forever after we die. It's very important, because we're all going through this "test".
Please do look into Islam, this is the true guidance from God All-mighty! I'm 100% sure about it!
