Why doesn't God find smoking abominable?
Why isnt smoking a sin if it kills people?
Isnt the body the Lords temple?

More and more places are banning smoking never the less. Employers are even firing people for smoking.

Well its not really a sin since they are consenting to killing themselves and its not certain that they will die of it either. People probalby will stop smoking, but because its addictive and has found its way into pop culture, it wont go without a long hard fight. But if people want to smoke, they shold have the right as long as i dont have to breathe it.

Will people ever stop insinuating religion into what are not religious issues?
Will medical science ever find a way to drug that part of the brain that is responsible for tobacco cravings?
Why does everything that is harmful have to be "a sin" - can't it just be harmful?
Isn't the body ours to do with as we wish? And if we only have one life to live, would we not wish to take care of it so it will last?

It is not a sin to smoke, or drink.
"the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit" is a reference to why a Christian should not have sex with a whore. The passage has nothing to do with smoking-although some preachers try to use it that way.

It is called freedom. When is the government going to force people to stop eating anything other than tofu and water?...Everything kills you man. Even taking a breath kills brain cells. If I make the choice to smoke, then back off and leave me the *#%* alone!!!!

BECAUSE THOSE WITH THE POWER TO CHANGE THE LAWS ARE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF THE SMOKING BUSINESSES.
GOD IS SAD PEOPLE ARE SLOWLY KILLING THE TEMPLE WHERE HE PLACED HIS SPIRIT, BUT HE'S ALSO SAD THEY LIE, CHEAT AND STEAL.
SMOKING IS BETTER KNOWN AS PURPOSEFUL, SLOW SELF- EUTHANASIA... THE END RESULT IS ALWAYS DEATH.
