eye doctor-
sounds like a sty- i had one years ago and it made my eye puff up so bad and swell i couldnt see from it. lots of warm compresses helped drain it out- its when the tear duct gets something in it and gets infected----- so warm compressed, and youll need an eye medication anitbiotic from a doc---- just wear sunglasses when going out and try and take lots of hot showers and let the water run on it. its gonna take like a week to clear up. good luck.

Either your medical doctor or eye doctor can give you medicine for a stye.
A stye (also spelled sty) is an inflammation of the sebaceous glands at the base of the eyelashes. While they produce no lasting damage, they can be quite painful.
Styes are generally caused by a Staphylococcus bacteria infection and are particularly common in infants, though people of any age may experience them. They are commonly associated with stress, probably because people under stress tend to get less sleep and therefore rub their eyes more often, thus tranporting the bacteria into the eye.
A stye can be secondary, caused by blepharitis. A blocked oil gland near the eye, a chalazion, is often mistaken for a stye.

Could be a sty,but it could also be a plugged tear duct. I would attempt draining it if it looks like there is anything in it. To do that, run a washcloth under some water, wring it out a good bit, put in microwave and nuke for 1-2 minutes. Remove, it will be very HOT! Let it cool some, then place on your closed eyelid, this should soften the skin and cause any pus to come out. If it is very irritated I would simply call the eye doc, you don't want to introduce bacteria and cause a bad infection. Good luck.

It does sound like a stye. And they are painful. There is an ointment you can pick up at the drugstore. It'll help with the pain. And a warm compress will help too. If it's on the outside of the skin kinda looks like a pimple it'll go away in about a week. But if it's under the skin it might take longer.

Yes, it is a sty, just wet down a warm wash cloth and put it on your eye for an hour or till the wash cloth turns cold, do it twice and then your sty will be gone.

No, it is not a STYE. Pigs live in a sty.
Why in the hell would you go to a DERMATOLOGIST for an eye problem?
