In theory, chili is supposed to cool you down, but I guess you just love spicy foods and that is why you enjoy chili soup in the winter.

Because your head/face is the most exposed part of your body during the winter time. Your nose especially get cold. The steam and heat from soup and chili bowls going up your face and nose is more recognized and stimulate your brain (pleasure) more during this time of year. You reaction to remember this during the cold winter time is normal. Now... I'm hungry.. thanx's, there goes my diet.
