I am assuming you mean a class a or b license?Check out www.ntts.edu which stands for national tractor trailer school.That's where I recieved my training and it was very thorough.I hold a class A.

You may need to clarify the difference between a heavy duty license and a Semi - tractor trailer ( CDL A ).

Heavy equipment is construction vehicles.

A semi- tractor trailer license is a CDL Class A license ( combination vehicles) license will indicate the endorsements. doubles, triples, air brake, tanker ,haz-mat. etc.
