Ok - literally your first five steps -
Get a lawyer?
Hire a Financial Advisor?
Save the ticket until you figure this out?
Divide the money in trusts?

1. Get fired from work
2. Draw unemployment
3. Pay off my bills
4. Give family members a financial boost
5. Give a large donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
These are not necessarily in order (after 1 and 2 anyway).
You asked the first 5 steps........
After I pick up my check, those listed above are still the first 5 steps I would do, even after you have edited the question. I don't need a blood sucking lawyer, or a financial advisor. So, before you assume I would be broke after 24 months, lets go into detail a little further.
6. I would start my own business, wich I am planning on doing within the next 3 to 4 years anyway. I am not counting on the lottery to fund my business venture. Because in the grand scheme of things, my idea isn't going to cost too much to get off the ground. I am planning on quitting my job within 5 to 6 years, as long as my business takes off. So, you see I never said I wasn't going to have an income, because that was step 6. I also never said I was going to buy a new house, cars, or spend money on stupid things, (because I don't need exotic cars, houses, trips, things like that). I did say I was going to pay off all my bills, therefore with the lottery, my buisness would be free and clear from any type of loan, and all I would have to worry about would be operating expenses. I don't see how you can assume I would be broke within 2 years. At first, you asked for the first five steps. That's all I answered. Now that you have revised your question, here is why I choose to keep my orignal answer:
1. Get fired. This is just for the comdey of the fact of being a lottery winner and getting fired.
2. Draw unemployment. Same reason as above
3. Pay off my bills. I don't like oweing anyone, anything.
4. Give money to family. To me this is self-explaining. Why wouldn't you want to help out family members. They have helped me out in life more than I could ever repay.
5. St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. If you have ever lost a child, you know how much these orginazations mean.
