either make a trade off with him if he does not want to do a simple task. if that doesn't work, you might want to explain to him why you need him to get the milk for you. then if he still persists to say no, tell him how that makes you feel. and please, use "me" and "I" statements when speaking your mind. if you tend to use the word "you" (as in.."well, you never do anything for me") he will feel very much on the defense.

i dont think it would be that much of a problem to get it yourself
you could just ask him nicely, theres really no point to making a big argument out of it

does he use the milk.....if he uses it and you can get by w/o using it for a short period of time...don't buy it....or what you could really do is refuse to buy something he uses on the regular and when he asks tell him he can buy it.....that oughta work

get rid of one of the things he use in daily basis and when he go to get one ask him to get milk as well
