There is a lady that attends a Pencostal Church that told me that the Devil makes my little one have asthma and lung problems. I myself do not believe this since I am a former Nurse. What is your truthful opion regards to the belief of the Pencostal of the Devil making innocent children sick. Let alone adults also.

I'm going to give a little different interpretation here. Most religious people believe that God is Good and only good can come from him. Problem is there is tons of evil in this world, including illness of all kinds, whether cancer, plague, bird flu, asthma or lung problems. So how do these people explain that? If they are fundamentalists, it's easy. God cannot be responsible for that since he is ALL GOOD. Therefore the Devil must have done it. In my opinion, it simply shows a lack of critical judgment.

I suppose that it is possible, Remember Job 1. However, I would more likely believe that asthma, lung problems, and all sicknesses are a result of sin entering the world at the Fall. Not only was human behavior affected, but also the earth and all that is in/on it including our weather.
The devil is a devil alright, but he may get credit for some things man has caused. Not at all meaning that you little one has sinned, but that sin is already in the world because of man's disobedience to God. Sin is a serious thing. Humans were created to live forever. Now we do good to make 80.

Satan was allowed into the Creation by Adam.
Satan is the Author of Sin.
Sinning causes Human Beings to Reap what they have Sown in Negative Hurtfull ways.
Sinning Operates the Neutral Spiritual Laws and causes Curses to Happen.
satan messes with the DNA of all Kinds of Things, including Bacteria etc.
There are Many Reasons People get Sick.
Sin can cause Sickness.
Satan can manipulate DNA and cause it (takes time for him to change it).
Going Against Natural Laws (sitting in a Draft) can lower your Resistance to Sickness and Disease.
There are Certain Spirits of the devil that can Imitate Diseases and can be Cast Out.
This Area is Very Complicated.
Thank GOD for Doctors (and Very Pretty Nurses!, all of Them!)
satan hates all Human Beings and he has NO MERCY, even for innocent children.
devil is NO GOOD, Period.
When the Contract is up with Mankind, Jesus will come back and REMOVE satan (and the rest of his crew) from Human Contact.
Everyone will Start getting well, and Sickness and Disease will Eventually become a Thing of the Past.

If we are the parents with an asthmatic child, and the child is living with us, well if possible, let us try to look with an open mind that WE COULD BE THE DEVIL(quite unawares, un-intentional too) !!
Asthma is a consequence of some inadequacies in the body, and lack of support from the situation....
This lack of support from situation could be allergies in food, odour present in the surrounding air inhaled, etc...
There is also a very significant factor in this "surroundings"... People around ! This is were we come in... This emotion within us is a sort of contagious thing, whether we are aware of it or not. The Resistance, intolerance, suppressed negative emotions within us would easily permeate to our loved ones (mainly because of their EASY, NATURAL, TOTAL ACCEPTANCE of how we are at any given point of time) ! So it is very important , when we have an asthma prone child under our care, to be sincerely(not just 'acting' it out) cheerful, relaxed, joyous, and in possible level of deeper acceptance. This is quite a tough thing, with uncertainties in the external situation around us. But with some efforts, it could be quite possible over a period of time, and the results are almost certain, and very rewarding. Worth giving a try.

Absolutly not.... all of the ills that plague mankind tosay are the result of the coruption of the genetic code over the years following the Original sin of mankind that Got mankind kicked out of The Garden of Eden.... Mankind was created with oout any flaws such as illness.... But... when man rejected God and lost the good life in The Garden and lost the immortality of the physical body... that opened the body to death and decay... and the degridation of the genetics brought about ever shortening life spans and birth defects and hereditery deseases and all of the other things that plague man..... But they ARE NOT caused by satan and they ARE NOT caused by God either.... mankind did it to it's self.

No, the devil does not exhist, because if God existed, why would God allow an evil force to corrupt souls and then take them to a world of torture since God is a loving being and stuff like that. Asthma is caused by a tightening of the muscles arround your aveoli which makes breathing much harder.
