A US soldier.

I can leave the place after my tour is up. The Iraqi civilians have to live with the cesspool they created.

No question!! As a soldier! The life expectancy of a soldier far outweighs the life expectancy of a civilian, and a civilian is far more likely to be abducted, tortured, dismembered, and dumped. Give me a good 'ol american uniform, a kevlar, a flack vest, and an M-16.

As a US Soldier I would imagine. I have not served there so I can only speculate. Although I think it is rough on the troops. Because the US public, and it's Representatives are being so fickel. Let alone the stress of dealing with IED's.

I'll take the uniform any day, it's a hell of a lot safer than the civilians chances for survival. Iraq can thank that diminutive puke Ahmadinejad for all their misery.
