I know you maybe thinking that he feel this way because he had deep feelings for this young lady, that may not be altogether true, see each one of us experience death differently, and especially when there is a tragic death, he probably needs counseling and it wouldn't hurt for you to maybe receive a little also. Sit and talk with him about all this, and tell him what you are feeling, ask him do he want to go on with what you guys have. and what do he think would be the best for you two.....Good Luck

He is just going through a loss. Let him grieve, and be there for him. Reassure him that you are not bored, never have been, and don't see yourself getting bored with him in the future. Its really hard losing someone, even without having had romantic feelings for that person. It is totally normal (and not a threat to your relationship) for him to be upset. Give him some time to work thru it.

Its probably his first love he may love you but the first love is always the most special he is in grief and try to find a way to cheer him up and also try talking to him remember he loves you and noting will change that and eventually he will start thinking of her less and less so don't worry and try to cheer him up by going out

Your not losing him, he will just be depressed for a little while longer. After a while it will go away. Keep sticking to what you are doing and it should be fine.

A loose of anyone you know might be devastating, espacially if you once loved them! You must really win your boyfriend over, because he might have bad memories everytime he sees you, because you were with him when she died! He might be blaming himself for not saving her! If you don't do something fast you will loose him! He might also comit suiside, wonting to be with her!
