ok...first of all...a LOT of this stuff goes on in High School....Hopefully you're not a Freshman and you have three more years of this to go through. (Hence the phrase "that's so high schoolish"...Don't worry about what's "going on" with them...if it was meant to be, it will be. Just move on and be a little "adult" about it (since you ARE considered a YOUNG ADULT) - which means not getting someone else QUICK to make him jealous. Sit him down one on one and tell him how you feel. If he acts childish about it, then so be it...YOU be the bigger person and just walk away. It's not the end of the world, although you probably feel as if it is at your age....When the RIGHT ONE comes before you, you'll certainly know. This one doesn't seem to be THE ONE....

I would ask question that "dance" around the issue at hand, but don't ask questions that are directly associated with what you are wondering...you might get some answers there. Or if you just want to find out right away (they might not tell the truth thought) just ask one of them or both of them. If you don't like any of those responses or feel that he is lieing and/or has feelings for your friend...break up with him.

the same thing happened to me and i broke up with my boyfriend and then 3 days later him and my best friend started going out. theyre still together a year later and i havent talked to either one since. stuff just happens, its high school. hopefully your friend is better than mine was and no matter if she does like him or not she wont hook up with him. your boyfriend wont come out and say he likes your friend, but when a girl suspects something, shes usually right. good luck

Let him go, gracefully. You deserve to be his one and only, wait for the one who feels that way for you.

never hurts to ask. ask your friend first. just tell her your concerns... then if she seems to be acting shady.. go to him.. don't jump down their thorats tho.. doing that you could lose two people that you really care about
