My boyfriend and I just started renting an apartment about 2 months ago. His sister wants to know if she can come and stay with us for the weekend, now this wouldn't be a problem for me, however, she steals anything and everything she can get her hands on. clothes, shoes, food, cds, mp3 players, games. you name it she steals it. she is 24 years old. I don't want her to come to our house because I'm afraid she'll steal our stuff. This girl even steals from her mom. I just don't know if I should tell him I don't want her over. How should I tell him? She wants to come this Thursday.

I think you should sit boyfriend down and tell him how you feel. If he does not understand it then lock all of your belongings up and stay at a friends or family house for the weekend. ( you could also post little post its up all around the house saying stealer's will be prosecuted by law.) Or even have a talk with the clepto and tell her about a friend of yours who steal. (Telling her about her self) and ask her how you should handle it.

You have to be honest with your boyfriend. Can't you talk with him about anything? He's the one you want to spend your life with. Let him know you're worried about her stealing things since that has been her behavior in the past. Don't be rude, just talk about how you feel. You're justified to be concerned. Good Luck!

You just have to be honest woth him. Tell him it would be a big risk to have her in the house. i sure he knows how she is. Hopefully, he will understand.

be honest and tell him. listen to him and then tell him to be watchful while she is there. also be sure to leave something of his that's really cool out where she will be sure to take it then let him deal with what happens.
