we have a great relationship, except that she never calls me WHY?

its like we are perfect, when i call her we have a great talk, i ask her out and she always says yes......we have a great time, we go out often, but she never calls me first,..........WHY???
why do girls do that?

Be glad shes not some needy clingy girl bothering you all the time and not giving you space. There are way too many of those.

Well, in a day where men were expected to do the calling, and inviting a young lady on a date, a woman was considered forward or brash if she did the calling. Maybe she is a product of this upbringing---or maybe she is busy----or maybe she has the good manners to wait to call at an appropriate time--but you beat her to it. Personally, what could you have to say that this is so important---I mean, is it a security issue---gotta talk all the time---give her a break---and you should go get something to do and stop worrying about all this---you may just push her away---that's a fact.

I was in the same situation. Usually girls DO want to talk on the phone a lot. I would always call her and she never called me. Turned out she was losing interest in me. Take her out for a very romantic night right away and see how she is acting. Good luck, I hope you don't end up like in my shoes.

Well, it could be that she is not a big talker on the phone. But if she is, maybe she feels like she would rather see you in person.
But, if you are worried that your relationship might be in trouble, talk to her. Or you could casually ask her to call you, and see what she says. But, it could be that she feels that she doesn't need to call you because you always call her! But, don't worry, it will all work out.

Some girls are shy and prefer that her man take the lead in the relationship. I wouldn't let this get you too discouraged. If she is taking your calls, you have good conversations, and go out and have a wonderful time then what are you worrying about? She might just want that night in shining armor to slay dragons and sweep her off her feet :) :)

Hmmm...I always called the guy but as the girl, I expected the guy to call me. As a girl, i'd be absolutely pissed if he didn't call. As a girl who calls, I'd be kind of perplexed as to why she never called. When the time is right, you need to ask her. A good relationship is one where you can talk about anything.

This is how my Girlfriend is now, I can go all day and she won't even call, but when I ask her why she hasn't called, she says she was busy, so Either it is that, or She Feels that she shouldn't have to call you, Maybe she thinks that if you want to hang out with her, you will call

its not just the girls that do that... i always the one to call my guy first but we always have a great time...

it might be because she knows you'll call her.. you could try not calling for a couple days or just ask her why you always have to be the one to call.

Well, maybe she is scared to call you. Except, i call my bf just to talk. Sometimes i say "Hey, u wanna see the movie _____" and he says yes. But most of the time, he calls, and it makes it more..... Special. I guess you just keep callin her, make her feel comforterble, and then she will start callin u to talk. Oh, and if u dont have a cell, GET ONE!! it will make her call more!

maybe it is not a game, but tacticts, a defense mechanism. She'll feell totally given if she makes a move; she may be scared to death to go off the impression of being in your hands... if you are the one to pursue, she feels she's wanted. She could probably be afraid of being left out, some guys tend to do it if we display love directly.
