My girlfriend and I just found out that she is pregnant. We are so happy, but we are also far in debt, we have terrible credit, and we don't make that much money. we live in Colorado, and we are looking for resources, (both state and federal) that will help us in this time of need.

i live in nj and i know in every state there is something called public assistance . call the state of Colorado and ask them who do you contact , the program is called welfare . they provide food stamps , cash benifits and medicade . there is also a program where they pay your rent for a year to help you get on your feet.
