My son just turned four and he is riding his bike without training wheels. You should first get her used to the fact that the wheels are now gone. Help her on the bike, while holding her with one hand and the bike with the other. Walk around the yard pushing her on the bike. Make turns so that she can get the feel of how the bike will do when turning. Also, very important to show her how to use the brakes. It may take a couple of days doing this just so she will feel comfortable on the bike. When you think she is ready, push her where she is going straight, make sure she is balanced and then let her go. She may fall a couple of times, but she will eventually get the hang of it. Hope this helps.

My Dad taught me at age 5. What he did was teach me balance first. We had a driveway which was slightly slanted so it was my "hill", he put me on my bike and put me at the top of the hill and had me roll down and at the end of the "hill" he would be there to catch me and stop the bike from rolling. We did this over and over and over and over and over until he felt I understood how to keep my balance, then he had me ride the bike back up the hill instead of him rolling me back up and he taught me how to use the brakes. It was fun for both of us, good bonding time and I never fell, not once and I learned to ride a bike that very day.

Check with the neighbors and see if they have a small bike..Teach her to balance...Once she masters that, the rest will fall into place..That is the hardest thing for a child to know is balancing that bike.

Good Luck..
