The way I understand this is that you can't see what is Spiritually or morally correct. These are completely intangible therefore one has to go within, to one's heart, to determine if something is a right action.

I relate this to my Self in that if I do something good - altruistic, compassionate, respectful, loving etc., it "feels" great! I can't see these effects usually, but i can sure sense that it's been done correctly when I look to my heart and Spirit...

An example: the other day I went out on a limb and bought a good mate a laptop computer. ok...it wasn't brand new or top-of-the-line or anything, but he'd been screaming for something better than what he's got. Without him asking, I said "do you want me to buy you one?". As soon as I said this, I knew that it was a "right action". I saw this with my heart / spirit / soul...

Another: I have been copping heaps from one of my work collegues. I don't know why and I don't really want to have a discussion with her. So, looking within and using what I understand of the Buddha's teachings, I have been offering her my compassion, respect and love. It's hard to do but it is an essential act. Again, this is my heart guiding me. And if I understand things right, I will "infect" her with the same feelings eventually. Even if she doesn't get it, I know that I will be doing the right thing for me. And that's what's essential!

Hope that this is of some limited help!

Love and Light,

Jarrah

you can not see love , when you see a person who is in trouble and needs help and you feel bad for them , the you see them with your heart . the eyes see only what we know , the heart sees all we dont know and see it to the right . like when someone gets picked on you may do it to the eyes of others but you feel it in your heart that it is wrong , when you have a problem believing what you see look with your heart
