I've heard that putting an ice cube on it does some justice (or putting a cold spoon on it), and rubbing it with a toothbrush eases out the blood vessels for better circulation. Wait for several minutes before it may start to fade.
Rubbing it with an object like a coin hurts, but it is proven to be very *effective*- stretch the skin flat and use the edge to scrape that skin; press HARD and push the excess blood out to the surface. Ouch!
Makeup is for quick and easy cover-up but of course it'll wash off.

well using the top of lipstick (not hte part that the lipstick actually comes out of but the rim of the cover) can work if it was relatively soon after the bite happened... after 20 hrs I would just say find a way to hide it-scarfs, cover-up etc.

Ha!
I heard to use a plastic comb over the area.
I would personally use a lot of makeup and a turtleneck.

no such thing as a remover -- the mark is blood gathered in your skin like a bruise. Only option is to cover it while it heals.
