This is definately not a Mortons neuroma which is a thickeing of a nerve caused by continuing pinching by Metararsal bones. As it is located between the Metatarsals it cannot be felt on the surface. The lump is most likely to be a callus or corn (thick hard skin) or a verruca (viral skin infection) both of which can be treated by a Chiropodist or Podiatrist. A Chiropodist/Podiatrist would also be able to tell you what the lump is if it is not one of the above. Make sure that they are Health Profession Council Registered (HPC) as this is the Government body that regulated that profession and anyone not registered is not legally a Chiropodiat or Podiatrist. The Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist can give you a list of HPC registered practitioners in your area at the following link. www.feetforlife.org
